Tourist flows to Lisbon are increasing annually. The Lisbon Municipality is the regional authority in charge of the administration, aiming to make Lisbon a City of Knowledge and Creativity.
Lisbon is the leader in Tourism Pilot, Pilot in Participation. Smart Tourism Pilot takes Partner cities’ existing tourism data platforms and aim to provide a multi-city Pilot setting focusing on possibilities for creating dynamically thematic “routes” along the cities’ points of interest. Focus is on unifying access to location- and time-based tourism-related data, and subsequent service generation.
